RIS Fund Applications

Applications for the 2025-2026 RIS Fund are now open!

The Research, Innovation, and Scholarship (RIS) Committee is pleased to announce the 2025-2026 Call for Proposals for CDAG’s Research, Innovation, and Scholarship Fund.

Funds ranging from $1000–$2000 will be awarded to quality proposals that describe either:

  • A novel research/innovation project situated in the fields of curriculum, quality assurance, and/or scholarship of teaching and learning
  • A work plan to support a proposal development for a major grant or award; or
  • A work plan to pursue a knowledge dissemination opportunity such as a peer-reviewed journal article or a conference presentation

Eligibility

Any member of CDAG in a non-managerial position at a College of Applied Arts and Technology (CAAT) whose name appears on the current CDAG membership list is eligible to apply to the RIS Fund, either as an individual applicant or as a member of a collaborative project team.

Any member of CDAG in a managerial position at a CAAT and any CDAG Guest Members are eligible to apply to the RIS Fund as members of a collaborative project of which a CAAT non-managerial CDAG member is the Principal Investigator.

To Submit a Proposal

Submit completed Fund Applications to the CDAG Research, Innovation, and Scholarship Chair via e-mail with the subject heading “CDAG RIS Fund Application” at CDAGOntarioRIS@gmail.com by March 15, 2026 at 11:59 pm. Late submissions will not be accepted. The deadline may be extended at the discretion of the committee.
