The role of the CDAG Executive Committee is to
- maintain communication with members;
- propose or implement new activities or opportunities that will further the mission and goals of CDAG;
- maintain the currency of the operating guidelines and terms of reference;
- oversee, discuss, and review reports of the subcommittee meetings;
- provide leadership and consultation on behalf of CDAG to external bodies; and
- collaborate on reporting with other operating committees.

Chair: Cliona Geraghty
e-Learning Curriculum Consultant (Fanshawe College)

Cliona has been a member of the CDAG Executive since 2015 and filled the role of Treasurer 2016-2018. She has also been significantly involved in many other capacities among several CDAG committees over the past several years, including the Conference Planning Team, the Website/Communications and the Research, Innovation, and Scholarship working groups.
Cliona’s exceptional leadership qualities along with her vast knowledge and substantial curriculum experience are invaluable in her role as CDAG Chair. In addition, Cliona continues to assume the responsibilities of the CDAG Treasurer.
Vice-Chair/Chair-Elect: Shelly Ikert

Shelly is a nursing professor as well as curriculum coach and faculty advisor who recently joined CDAG and currently serves as a member of the Conference Planning Team.
Her recently acquired new role in curriculum development along with her enthusiasm and high level of interest in various other areas surrounding curriculum are sure to benefit the Executive. Shelly is sure to provide a keen and fresh perspective as well as valuable input for ongoing work and activity planning undertaken by the CDAG Executives, subcommittees, and working groups.

Mary was previously a member of the CDAG Executive from 2019 – 2021 and has resumed the role of Secretary as of 2026.
Mary has worked in faculty development and curriculum development since 2014. She particularly enjoys supporting faculty members throughout their development and continuous learning as educators. She completed her PhD in Higher Education from OISE in 2022, focusing on faculty development at Ontario Colleges of Applied Arts and Technology. Her teaching background includes high school English and math, and Communications and General Education courses at Fleming College.
