Affiliate Groups

CDAG is affiliated with three other provincial groups that collaborate and report collectively to the Coordinating Committee of Vice-Presidents, Academic (CCVPA) from the Ontario colleges:

Heads of Quality Management (HQM)
HQM members include directors, managers, and leaders of quality management or assurance activities at the Ontario colleges. HQM aims to provide strategic leadership and development of system-wide change in the planning and delivery of college education to meet the changing learning and workforce needs of college-trained graduates. HQM collaborates with CDAG and the other affiliate groups for reporting to CCVPA.

College Degree Operating Group (CDOG)
CDOG members include representatives from the Ontario colleges that offer degree programs. CDOG shares educational policies and procedures and offers a forum for discussion related to college degrees to identify issues and make recommendations to the Postsecondary Education Quality Assessment Board (PEQAB) (See Provincial Perspective for more information about PEQAB).

Educational Technology Committee (ETC)
ETC  pop-out-link-icon is composed of Ontario college faculty and staff who work to integrate educational technology into curriculum to advance student learning. Indigenous Peoples Education Circle (IPEC)
IPEC pop-out-link-icon is a collective body representing the Indigenous Education Councils (IECs) of Ontario’s Colleges. IPEC members balance the interests of the College institutions and the IEC that they represent. Our collective approach to improving life opportunities for Indigenous students and community is to embed accountabilities for Indigenous education across the College system. As educators, counsellors, and administrators our role is to build and support a continuum of education that enables Indigenous students’ access and to succeed in their learning journey. As a provincial group we share information, promote professional development, implement best practices, and develop our expertise in Indigenous education, supporting one another as professional colleagues in seeking the recognition and affirmation of Indigenous learners and Indigenous education.
