CDAG 2026 Virtual Conference: November 18–19

Curriculum Leadership: Thriving Through Transitions

SAVE THE DATE: November 18th-19th, 2026

CDAG is delighted to announce that we will hold our Sixth virtual conference in Fall 2026.

The CDAG annual Conference is an opportunity to support our mandate of promoting and contributing to quality curriculum in Ontario colleges by sharing, collaborating and promoting best practices in curriculum development.

As in previous years, we look forward to participation from CDAG members and others working closely with curriculum, as well as our colleagues from HQM (Heads of Quality Management), CDOG (College Degree Operating Group), ETC (Educational Technology Committee), and Indigenous Peoples Education Circle (IPEC). Please feel free to share this Save the Date message among your peers and networks!

CALL FOR PROPOSALS

CDAG is now calling for proposals for this conference. We welcome your submissions to lead discussions and presentations on cutting-edge topics and practices vital to curriculum development, renewal, and innovation in the college sector.

Please indicate in your proposal the format best suited to your session:

Workshop (60 minutes)

These interactive sessions allow plenty of audience participation! This is the ideal format for taking participants through the design and/or implementation of a new or successful strategy used in your work. Share your challenges, successes and insights and provide opportunities for the audience to consider how to apply something similar in their practice.

Panel discussion (60 minutes)

With a panel of colleagues (multi-college representation is always popular!), address one or more topics related to the conference theme. Panelists might discuss their approaches to one or a variety of specific problems, processes, research, trends, etc., and share insights from their experiences. Plan for no more than 3-4 panelists plus a moderator who keeps speakers on track and on time to allow for a 10- or 15-minute Q&A/discussion with the audience.

Presentation (60 minutes = 40-45 minutes’ presentation + 15-20-minute Q&A)

Interested in sharing a new approach to your work, findings from research you conducted, or a favourite or successful methodology or practice? Then, this is an ideal format! Share the details of your topic in a 40-minute talk, allowing ample time at the end for audience questions.
