Canadore College’s Centre of Academic Excellence and Lifelong Learning (CAELL) invites faculty, researchers, and teaching and learning support staff to join Canadore College’s 2026 SoTL Symposium, taking place on Thursday, May 21st, 2026. Centered on the theme More than Marks: Understanding Student Learning through SoTL, this year’s symposium will highlight innovative research and practices that deepen our understanding of student learning, assessment, feedback, engagement, and evidence-informed teaching. We are currently accepting proposals for presentations, workshops, and one panel discussion, with submissions due by April 17, 2026. Whether you are sharing a piloted, in-progress, or completed project, this is an opportunity to contribute to meaningful conversations about teaching and learning. Registration is now open, and we welcome participants from colleges and universities across Canada.
