5a – Ask Us Anything! UDL and EDI

Mohawk College is approximately 7 years into its formal UDL implementation. Over the past several years we have had some superb successes and fantastic failures and we are happy to share them all!
Mohawk College has developed a comprehensive Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Action Plan and is working diligently to reach its commitments. UDL is a key element of the plan which has spurred on additional interest in implementation to meet our institutional EDI goals. In this 50-60 minute session we will provide context of Mohawk College’s implementation of UDL as it pertains to EDI in higher education, including what we have tried and what we are planning to try next. We will then open the space to participants to share, ask and collaborate about all things UDL and EDI.
Participants of the Ask Us Anything: UDL and EDI session will:
- Examine Mohawk College’s UDL implementation approach.
- Discuss UDL and EDI as it pertains to both Mohawk College’s context, as well as their own.
We may not have all the answers, but we definitely want all of your questions! Participants are encouraged to “ask us anything” about UDL and EDI!
