Announcing the RIS Fund Recipients for 2022-2023

CDAG’s Research, Innovation, and Scholarship Committee is pleased to announce that Shelly Ikert (Lambton), Jennifer Ramsdale (Fleming), Mel Young (Cambrian), and Catharine Dishke Hondzel (Lambton) have been awarded funding for their project titled New Faculty Orientation Programs in Ontario: A Look at Impact.

In this project, the researchers will investigate the impact of new faculty orientation programs in Ontario colleges against the backdrop of changes to teaching and learning arising as a result of the pandemic. The research team will focus on faculty impressions of their orientation program, the effectiveness of the tools used to support faculty orientation, and gaps in how faculty are onboarded into teaching.

Congratulations, Shelly, Jennifer, Mel, and Catharine!
