I have a colleague looking into the possibility of having two different assessment lists for two different delivery modes in one course outline. Curious if anyone has seen this or an example of this?

I’ve seen that in syllabi/weekly plan documents, but not in the outline. I would be concerned about both modes being in co-alignment with the outcomes in a way that is different but equivalent.

Our institution allows for multiple assessment lists on the same course outline depending on delivery mode.

Students will see a “Standard/Traditional Delivery” header and list of the assessments followed by “On-Line Delivery” which lists the next set.

In order for a course to go online faculty must show how the CLOs can be met in both modalities. So for us, the outcomes remain the same regardless of delivery mode, and we are able to distinguish the assessments accordingly.

Happy to chat directly if more info is wanted.

    Cheers,
