How long have you been a member of CDAG and what is one thing you most appreciate about the organization?
I joined CDAG in Fall 2019, starting with the conference in Barrie. Since then, I have been involved primarily with the conference planning committee. I most appreciate the network for asking questions and providing models.
If you could give one piece of advice to someone new to curriculum development, what would it be?
It’s ok to have many questions! Questioning “the way things are” is a great way to support continual improvement.
Describe your perfect curriculum development day in three words.
Problem-solving, laughter, learning.
What project are you most proud to be/to have been a part of in your career?
I am very proud of a professional development series our team developed for faculty and program coordinators to explore curriculum over the program lifecycle.
What is one of your strategies to maintain a healthy work-life balance?
The mantra: there is no such thing as a curriculum emergency.
