Evelyn Chan is an Educational Technology and Digital Content Specialist at George Brown Polytechnic and a Doctor of Education (EdD) student in Emerging Technologies in Education. She has demonstrated outstanding leadership in curriculum development, quality assurance, and faculty capacity building. Through the creation of innovative resources such as The QM Learning Path: Faculty Development and Course Design for Quality Online Learning and the TLX[SM1] Course Quality Checklist, Evelyn has helped translate evidence-based quality standards into practical tools that support faculty, curriculum developers, and academic leaders.
Her work has strengthened curriculum quality within George Brown Polytechnic while contributing to broader sector conversations through publications, conference presentations, and open educational resources. Evelyn is also recognized for her leadership in preserving and advancing teaching and learning scholarship through the creation of sustainable, accessible archives of institutional knowledge.
