CDAG’s Research, Innovation, and Scholarship (RIS) Committee is pleased to announce that project “Applying the Graduate Profile as a Tool to Support Consent Renewal to Update Program Currency and Relevancy” from Seneca Polytechnic has been selected for funding.
About the Project: Program Quality (PQ) ensures Seneca’s postsecondary programs are high quality by supporting key processes and encouraging a culture of ongoing improvement. We use data, research and reflection to keep programs current and effective. Our team works closely with academic departments to develop, review, and refresh programs so they stay innovative, challenging, and aligned with what students need to succeed—whether that’s in the workforce or in further education. The Graduate Profile is a tool that has been used in the development of new programs at Seneca. The goal of our project is to incorporate the Graduate Profile more intentionally and purposefully in the consent renewal process for the purpose of updating currency and relevancy of curriculum for degree programs that are going through a review.
