CDAG’s Research, Innovation, and Scholarship (RIS) Committee is pleased to announce that Dr. Mary Overholt was the successful recipient of the 2019-20 call for proposals to the RIS Fund.
Dr. Overholt’s project, Assessing the Impact of a Faculty Development Program, examined the case of one new faculty development program, including an analysis of participants’ pre- and post-program surveys on the program’s impact on their individual teaching practice, and on their self-confidence as teachers.
Dr. Overholt used the CDAG RIS funding to pay for transcription of participant’s interviews.
Mary Overholt, PhD is a Teaching & Learning Specialist at Fleming College. Her PhD in Higher Education from OISE focused on faculty development at Ontario Colleges of Applied Arts and Technology.
